Lisa Federle

Lisa Federle, born in Tübingen in 1961, is an emergency physician and author. She worked as an emergency physician from 2001 and as a senior emergency physician from 2004. In 2015, she developed a “mobile doctor’s office” to provide medical care for refugees and homeless people. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it was converted into a mobile testing facility and became part of the Tübingen Model. Federle received the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2020 and the Barbara Künkelin Prize in 2022. Her books “Auf krummen Wegen geradeaus” and “Vom Glück des Zuhörens” were SPIEGEL bestsellers.
