Lilli Mixich

Lilli Mixich was born in 1957 in Bad Reichenhall, Germany, and worked as a pharmaceutical technician. She discovered Africa as a travel destination in her twenties and later visited more than 30 African countries. After emigrating and undertaking several long-term journeys, she began a life of solo adventure at the age of 55. A Land Cruiser more than 30 years old served as her home during this period. She draws on these experiences in autobiographical travel stories and books.
