Lia Nilges, born in 1998 in Viersen in the Lower Rhine region, is an author, editor, and story coach. Before turning to literature, she worked in an office-based profession. In spring 2024, she published her high-fantasy debut novel, »Freiheitskämpfer – Der Kampf um Frieden«. The same year, she contributed to the charity anthology »Hinter jedem Lieblingslied steckt eine Geschichte«, which raised donations for the German Depression League. Her longstanding interests include the German language, the Middle Ages, and pen-and-paper role-playing games.
