Leonid Finberg (born 1948) is a sociologist and cultural researcher. He graduated from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 1972 and worked as an engineering researcher until 1996. From 1997 to 2000, he taught Jewish civilization in the Judaica master’s program at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Together with Kostyantyn Sigov, he was involved in publishing more than 500 volumes with the Dukh i Litera publishing house, including works by Hannah Arendt, Paul Ricoeur, and Timothy Snyder.
