Leo Lukas

Leo Lukas was born in Styria and worked as a local reporter, cultural critic and columnist, including for the Kleine Zeitung. An Austrian cabaret writer and performer, he helped shape the country’s cabaret scene and also became known as a German-language science-fiction author, particularly through his contributions to Perry Rhodan. His awards include the Salzburger Stier, the Austrian Cabaret Prize “Karl” and a Golden Book for Jörgi, der Drachentöter, which he co-created with Gerhard Haderer. His first crime novel, Mörder Quoten, was published in 2019, followed by Mörder Pointen in 2022.
