Len Howard

Len Howard (1894–1973) was a violinist and a pioneer in the study of birds. She gave up her career to observe and study the birds in her garden over several decades. Although she was not a biologist, she published two books, including *Alle Vögel meines Gartens*, first published in German in 1952.
