Lemony Snicket

Lemony Snicket is the pseudonym of the writer Daniel Handler. Under this name, he wrote the book series A Series of Unfortunate Events, also known in German as Die schaurige Geschichte von Violet, Sunny und Klaus. The first three books were adapted into a 2004 film starring Jim Carrey and Meryl Streep; the series was also adapted for a Netflix television series released from 2017 to 2019. The books are known for their dark humor and numerous references to other works of literature.
