Lawrence Hill

Lawrence Hill grew up in Toronto in the 1960s and worked as a reporter in Canada, Europe, and the United States. He also traveled to Cameroon, Mali, and Niger as a volunteer aid worker. His novel “Ich habe einen Namen” was his first work translated into German and received, among other distinctions, the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize.
