Laurie Penny

Laurie Penny, born in London in 1986, is an author, journalist, and screenwriter. Penny studied English literature at Oxford and received a Nieman Fellowship in journalism at Harvard University. Their work has appeared in publications including the Guardian, the New Statesman, Time Magazine, The New York Times, and Vice. As a screenwriter, Penny contributed to the series The Nevers, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Carnival Row. Their books include Fleischmarkt (2012), Unsagbare Dinge (2015), Babys machen & andere Storys (2016), and Bitch Doktrin (2017).
