Lauren Myracle

Lauren Myracle is an author of children’s and young adult books. Her best-known works include the Internet Girls books “ttyl,” “ttfn,” and “l8r, g8r,” as well as the Winnie Years series. “ttyl” and “ttfn” appeared on the New York Times bestseller list, and “ttyl” was the first book written entirely in text-message form. Before devoting herself to writing, Myracle worked as a teacher. She studied English and psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned further degrees in English and in writing for children and young adults.
