Lars Hamberger

Lars Hamberger was a professor, scientist and gynecologist at the University of Gothenburg. He wrote the text for “A Child Is Born” and led a research group that played a major role in the birth of Scandinavia’s first test-tube baby in 1982. For more than four decades, Hamberger worked closely with Lennart Nilsson on various film and book projects.
