Lars Elling

Lars Elling (born 1966) is a Norwegian writer and visual artist. He has published two picture books and illustrated several children’s books. In 1996, he and Bjørn Sortland received the German Youth Literature Prize for the children’s book “Red, Blue and a Little Yellow,” which Elling illustrated. Elling exhibited in Berlin and New York, among other places, and his works were acquired by the National Museum of Norway and the Arts Council Norway. “The Princes of Birkensee” was his first novel.
