Lara Cardella

Lara Cardella was born in 1969 in Licata, Sicily. She studied classical literature in Palermo and made her literary debut in 1989 with the novel “I Wanted Trousers” (“Volevo i pantaloni”). The book remained at the top of the Italian bestseller list for several months.
