Kristine von Soden

Kristine von Soden holds a doctorate in the humanities, with a focus on sociology and psychology. Born in Hamburg, she has worked as a feature writer for NDR and Deutschlandfunk and as a lecturer at the University of Hamburg. For many years, she studied the biographies of Jewish scholars, writers, and artists in the Weimar Republic. Her publications include “Ahrenshoop. Balancieren auf der Meerschaumlinie,” “Ahrenshoop – Höchstpersönlich,” and the volumes “Stille Winkel auf Usedom” and “Stille Winkel auf Fischland, Darß und Zingst.” In 2018–19, she curated the exhibition “Schiffswege von Künstlern und Literaten ins Exil 1933–1941” at the Kunstmuseum Ahrenshoop.
