Kristina Vogel

Kristina Vogel (born in 1990 in Leninskoye, then in the Soviet Union and now Kyrgyzstan) is a German former track cyclist. As a junior, she won six world titles in 2007 and 2008. She won Olympic gold at the 2012 and 2016 Games and a total of 17 world titles in track cycling. Following a serious training accident in 2018, she has been paralyzed from the chest down. Vogel published her autobiography, “Immer noch ich. Nur anders: Mein Leben für den Radsport” (“Still Me, Just Different: My Life in Cycling”).
