Kristina Nya Glaffey (*1979) graduated from the Danish Writers’ School in Copenhagen in 2005. She made her literary debut in 2007 with the short-story collection Lykkejægere (Fortune Hunters). She subsequently published several novels that addressed queer identity, gender norms, social ideals and modern masculinity in critical and satirical ways. Alongside her literary work, she translated books from English and Portuguese, developed podcasts, and wrote articles on gender and sexuality for magazines and newspapers.
