Kristina Nowothnig

Kristina Nowothnig was born in Schleswig-Holstein in 1979. By the age of nine, she had decided that she wanted to become a children’s book illustrator. She studied communication design at the Braunschweig University of Art. After graduating, she pursued a career as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, working for publishers, design agencies and other companies. Her illustration techniques include pencil, watercolour and digital media.
