Kristina Gehrmann

Kristina Gehrmann (born 1989) is a German illustrator and comic artist. She has worked as a freelance illustrator since 2012 and is known for her realistic drawing style and her focus on historical and adventure-related subjects. Her graphic novels include the trilogy “Im Eisland,” about the ill-fated Franklin Expedition, as well as “Der Dschungel” and “Bloody Mary.” The first volume of “Im Eisland” received the German Youth Literature Prize in the nonfiction category in 2016. Gehrmann has also illustrated books, including the “Escape Adventures” series published by TOPP.
