Kristen Roupenian

Kristen Roupenian (born 1982) studied African literature at Harvard University and worked as a freelance journalist. She attracted international attention with the short story “Cat Person,” published in The New Yorker in November 2017, which received widespread media attention. The short-story collection Cat Person was her debut and was published simultaneously in 23 countries.
