Kristen Ciccarelli

Kristen Ciccarelli is a Canadian author. Before turning to writing, she worked as a baker, potter or ceramic artist, bookseller, and NGO employee. She is known for the fantasy series Iskari; her other works include The Crimson Moth duology and A Dark Forgetting. Her books have been translated into numerous languages and have appeared on the New York Times bestseller list. Ciccarelli grew up in a large Canadian-Slovenian family, with the forests of the Niagara Peninsula serving as her childhood adventure playground.
