Krischan Koch

Krischan Koch, born in Hamburg in 1953, worked as a cabaret artist and short-film maker and wrote film criticism for many years, including for Die Zeit and NDR. He became known as the author of coastal crime novels, including Rote Grütze mit Schuss, Backfischalarm, and Pannfischalarm. North German cuisine also plays a recurring role in his novels.
