Klaus Wallendorf

Klaus Wallendorf, born in 1948 in Elgersburg in the Thuringian Forest, is a German horn player and author. In 1965, he received first prize in the German national “Jugend musiziert” competition. From 1980, he was a member of the Berlin Philharmonic, and from 1985 he was also associated with the brass ensemble German Brass. Alongside his musical career, Wallendorf worked as a master of ceremonies and musical cabaret performer and wrote texts for occasions involving the Berlin Philharmonic. His publications include “Immer Ärger mit dem Cello” (2012) and “Zwischen Mundstück und Mikrofon” (2020).
