Klaus Laabs

Klaus Laabs was born in Berlin in 1953. He worked as a literary translator, translating primarily works of Hispanic American and French-language literature from the Caribbean and Africa into German. Authors he translated include José Lezama Lima, Reinaldo Arenas, Alejandra Pizarnik, and Daniel Maximin.
