Kirsten Fehrs

Kirsten Fehrs was born in 1961. In 2011, she was appointed bishop of the Hamburg and Lübeck district of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany. In 2015, she became a member of the Council of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD). From 2018 to 2020, she served as spokesperson for the EKD’s council responsible for protection from sexualized violence.
