Kim Gordon

Kim Gordon is a musician, singer, visual artist, music producer, video director, fashion designer, and actress. She became known as the bassist, singer, and songwriter of the alternative rock band Sonic Youth, which she co-founded with Thurston Moore in 1981. She produced Hole’s debut album, “Pretty on the Inside,” and founded the fashion label X-Girl in 1993. Following Sonic Youth’s dissolution, she performed with Bill Nace as Body/Head from 2012 onward. She also appeared in several films and in the television series “Gossip Girl” and “Girls.”
