Kim Edwards is an author. Her novel *The Memory Keeper’s Daughter* became an international bestseller and was among the most successful books in the United States in its time. Her debut novel, *The Secrets of a Fire King*, received numerous awards. Her professional work also included teaching creative writing at the University of Kentucky.
