Kersten Reich

Kersten Reich (born 1948) is a German educator and cultural theorist. From 1979 to 2006, he was Professor of General Education and subsequently Professor of International Teaching and Learning Research at the University of Cologne, later becoming professor emeritus. His areas of research include constructivism, cultural theories, and constructivist and inclusive education and teaching. Reich also examined democracy and education, social justice, and sustainability. He helped lay the foundations for the Inclusive University School of the City of Cologne. His publications include “Der entgrenzte Mensch und die Grenzen der Erde” (2021).
