Kelly Anderson

Dr. Kelly Anderson is a physician with an academic background at the University of Toronto. She completed the Bookends Novel Fellowship under the mentorship of Meg Wolitzer and Christina Baker Kline and is a certified writing coach. Through the award-winning nonprofit organization Understory, Anderson is involved in writing courses for female physicians. Her debut novel is *The Year of the Whale*. She spent her childhood by the sea and on the beaches of British Columbia.
