Katy Hessel

Katy Hessel (born 1994) studied art history at University College London and worked as a curator, including for Tate Modern. She became known through the Instagram channel @thegreatwomenartists, where she presents women artists from around the world. She has also written for the Sunday Times, the Evening Standard and the BBC, and has given talks on art history at institutions including the University of Cambridge and the National Gallery in London.
