Katrin Obst became known nationwide as a horse expert through appearances on the VOX television programs »Die Pferdeprofis« and »hundkatzemaus«. For more than 20 years, she supported horses and their owners in her rehabilitation practice, including in cases of back pain and after operations or injuries. She also gave lectures on equine health and training. Her books »Fitnessstudio für mein Pferd« and »Fit mit Obst« were published by Kosmos.
