Katja Hoyer

Katja Hoyer (born 1985) is a German historian and author. After studying history at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, she pursued an academic and journalistic career in England. Her work as a commentator on historical and political subjects has appeared with outlets including the BBC, the Telegraph and the Spectator, and she became a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. Her publications include *Diesseits der Mauer*, her first book published in German, which became a Spiegel bestseller.
