Katja Hemkentokrax

Katja Hemkentokrax was born in North Rhine-Westphalia in 1993. She studied cultural studies with a focus on literature and media and completed a master’s degree in Integrated Media. She subsequently worked for a publishing house in Hamburg and also worked as a graphic designer. She began writing imaginative stories for young readers at the age of nine. Together with Anne Lück, she published the young adult novel “Spiegelscherbenmelodie,” which grew out of their shared enthusiasm for fantasy literature and quirky characters.
