Katja Brandis

Katja Brandis, born in 1970, studied American Studies, English and German Studies and initially worked as a journalist. She began writing in childhood and has published numerous novels, stories and nonfiction books for young readers. Her best-known works include the children’s and young adult series Woodwalkers and Seawalkers, as well as novels such as Freestyler, White Zone – Letzte Chance and Floaters. Im Sog des Meeres. She also co-wrote Ruf der Tiefe and Schatten des Dschungels with Hans-Peter Ziemek.
