Kathrin Lange

Kathrin Lange, born in 1969 in Goslar in the Harz region, worked as a publishing bookseller and media designer before making writing her profession in 2005. She has published novels for adults and young people, including thrillers, historical novels and fantasy books for young readers. In 2009, she received the Segeberger Feder, awarded by the youth jury of the city of Bad Segeberg, for her historical young adult novel The Astronomer’s Secret. Before beginning her writing career, she had initially considered working with a police dog unit.
