Kathleen O'Neal Gear

Kathleen O’Neal Gear, born in 1954 in California, is an American author. After completing her studies, she worked among other roles as an adviser on history and archaeology for the U.S. Department of the Interior. In addition to numerous scholarly publications, she has published more than 40 novels. She co-wrote works including The Eden Effect and The End of All Days with W. Michael Gear. She received a U.S. government award for special cultural achievement twice.
