Katherine Richards

Katherine Richards is from New England and studied at Cornell University. Before becoming a writer, she worked for a major bank in India, Hong Kong, and Africa. She received an award for a work of historical nonfiction. After returning to India in 1995, she spent seven years working on her novel The Silk Palace. She subsequently wrote The Pomegranate Garden in Cairo.
