Katharina Jakob

Katharina Jakob is a science journalist and author. She studied journalism and musicology, worked as an editor, and subsequently pursued a career as a freelance journalist. Her articles appeared in publications including GEO, P.M., Natur, Die Zeit, Süddeutsche Zeitung, and Dogs. Her areas of expertise included animal intelligence and the relationship between humans and animals. In her book “Warum Wale Fremdsprachen können” (“Why Whales Can Speak Foreign Languages”), she explored how animals think and feel.
