Katharina Fuchs (born in 1963 in Wiesbaden) studied law in Frankfurt am Main and Paris. She subsequently worked for many years as a lawyer and legal counsel for a DAX-listed company. As a writer, she became known for the Spiegel bestseller “Zwei Handvoll Leben.” Her novels explore families across several generations, historical turning points, and their lasting effects. “Zwei Handvoll Leben” and “Neuleben” were inspired by her own family history.
