Kate Morton

Kate Morton (born 1976) is an Australian writer. She grew up in Queensland and studied theatre in London and English literature in Brisbane. Her debut novel, The Shifting Fog, was published in 2007. Her other well-known novels include The Forgotten Garden, The Distant Hours, The Secret Keeper and The Lake House. Her books have been published internationally and have sold more than ten million copies worldwide.
