Karsten Teich

Karsten Teich, born in 1967, studied fine art at the Kunsthochschule in Kassel. He subsequently worked as an illustrator for magazines and newspapers. In 2001, he illustrated his first children’s book and later focused mainly on writing and illustrating books for children. Together with Eva Muszynski, he created the children’s book character Cowboy Klaus. His work has received awards including the Leipziger Lesekompass, the White Raven and the STUBE Kröte. Cowboy Klaus’s farting pony also appeared on the German television program “Die Sendung mit der Maus”.
