Karoline Mayer

Karoline Mayer (born 1943) is a German nurse and social activist. She trained as a university nurse and led the Fundación Cristo Vive. In recognition of her life’s work, she received numerous awards, including the German Federal Cross of Merit, the Cardinal Frings Medal of the Catholic Social Institute of the Archdiocese of Cologne (2008), and the Edith Stein Prize (2009).
