Karl Heinz Roth

Karl Heinz Roth, born in 1942, studied medicine and history and earned doctorates in both fields, in medicine in 1986 and in history in 1992. He worked in a general medical practice until 1997. In 1986, he co-founded the Foundation for the Social History of the 20th Century. Roth published numerous studies and essays on the labor, medical, social, economic, and scientific history of the 20th and early 21st centuries.
