Karin Hielscher

Karin Hielscher (born 1969) studied history, sociology and literary studies at Bielefeld University. After completing her studies, she initially worked as a freelance journalist and media consultant. Her translations from English include nonfiction and specialized books focusing on history and sociology, including works by Benjamin Carter Hett and Tim Bouverie. Among her translations of Hett’s books are »Der Reichstagsbrand: Wiederaufnahme eines Verfahrens« and »Eskalationen. Wie Hitler die Welt in den Krieg zwang«.
