Karen Traviss

Karen Traviss is an author, screenwriter and comic-book writer. Before pursuing a writing career, she worked as a defence correspondent, a television and newspaper journalist, and a police press officer. She is known in particular for the award-nominated Wess’har series. Her work also includes novels and other writing set in the Star Wars, Gears of War and Halo universes. She has been described as a New York Times bestselling author.
