Karen Sander

Karen Sander is the pen name of the author Sabine Klewe. She first worked as a translator and taught at a university before turning to writing. She holds a doctorate on the British thriller writer Val McDermid. Under the name Karen Sander, she has published, among other works, Baltic Sea thrillers that have been translated into several languages. Numerous crime novels and thrillers have also appeared under her real name, Sabine Klewe, and the pseudonym Sophie Kendrick.
