Karen M. McManus is an author of young adult novels. Her debut, One of Us Is Lying, and subsequent books including Two Can Keep a Secret, One of Us Is Next, The Cousins, You Will Be the Death of Me, Nothing More to Tell, and One of Us Is Back have been sold in more than 40 countries. One of Us Is Lying was nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize in 2019 and adapted as a television series. McManus holds a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
