Kami Garcia, born in 1972, is an American author. Together with Margaret Stohl, she published the Sixteen Moons novel series, which was translated into 40 languages, adapted into the film Beautiful Creatures, and released as a manga. Her other works include a novel based on the mystery series The X-Files, the standalone novel Broken Beautiful Hearts, and The Legion series. She also wrote graphic novels for DC, including Teen Titans: Raven, Teen Titans: Beast Boy, and Teen Titans: Robin.
