Kaja Evert

Kaja Evert (born 1981 in Schleswig-Holstein) studied literary studies and ancient languages, including Latin. She works in adult education and teaches academic writing. She became known in the fantasy scene for the biography of the mage Galotta, created for the role-playing game system The Dark Eye. Her novel Talvars Schuld was nominated for the German Fantasy Award in the Best Novel category in 2018; Dornenritter was nominated for the SERAPH in the Best Book category in 2022. Evert is particularly associated with dark fantasy.
