Kai Hermann

Kai Hermann, born in Hamburg in 1938, was a journalist, editor and author. He worked for Die Zeit and Der Spiegel, as well as as a freelance contributor to Stern. Hermann wrote books and screenplays, including the documentary bestseller “Christiane F.: Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo,” co-authored with Horst Rieck. His journalistic work earned him the Theodor Wolff Prize, the Egon Erwin Kisch Prize and the Carl von Ossietzky Medal.
