Julius Shulman

Julius Shulman was an American photographer known primarily for his photographs of Californian and modern architecture. He documented notable buildings by Frank Lloyd Wright, Pierre Koenig, Charles Eames, and Richard Neutra. Frequently published, his photographs helped establish architectural photography as an independent art form. Shulman combined precise compositions with a distinctive understanding of how buildings relate to their surrounding landscape.
